1963. Indonesian forces captured Christian Soumokil, JD, the South Moluccan president and commander in chief, and threw him into a rat-infested maximum security prison in Jakarta.

1965. Harold Lovestrand, an American missionary to western New Guinea, was falsely accused of assisting an armed revolt. He was arrested and put into that same prison-in a cell right next to Dr. Soumokils.
